Energy

With 4 young boys, very busy days and only if we're "lucky" two hours (and nothing can be left out over night) in a day to get this done, I'm wondering when we'll finish painting our main floor. It's not procrastination or lack of desire to get the work done, but somehow we're almost beginning to get used to the half -finished look. My husband has 2 weeks off and we had thought we'd find the time but with our days being so full with just staying on top of the boys & spending time with them, getting chores done, and various other things that need to be tended to, catching up with friends, etc, by the time the house is quiet at 8:30pm we are too exhausted to get started or we have tasks to do that couldn't be done with the boys up. We're just trying to be patient, keep smiling and apologise when people come over.☺

  1. HI Sara, just found your blog:) I know what you mean about painting. We often did it when our kids were in bed, which usually meant we started at 8:30 or 9 and went till 12 or later. We were tired, but in the end found that we were just thankful to work crazy hard and get it done. Hope you are able to get it done at some point:)
