This summer I've been taking the boys to a library Story Hour en français. Last week we went and it was every day for 1 hour. The theme for the week was "Air" so we made kites, blew bubbles, made a hot air balloon craft... This week it was "Animal Safari"! Here is one of the crafts my 4 year old and 2 1/2 year made yesterday. My 6 1/2 year old is very happy to go off and read books for an hour and my 18 month old loves to just walk around and look at everyone or yank books of the shelves and then climb up onto the bookshelves. We won't be going for the next few weeks but have registered for a week in August about Science. The play group we go to twice a week at a local church starts again at the end of August! September is back to the "formal" homeschooling schedule. This summer we've been reading together but very little formal subject seat work. It's been much too hot to concentrate properly!
