"Pioneer Woman?"

We have it so easy compared to the women long ago. All of the appliances we take for granted, running water, hot water, plumbing, grocery stores, cars and more.
The photos I posted on October 5th have hardly changed. What? Why? you may ask. Well to put it honestly...the crew really sucks. They are doing the very bare mininmum and the foreman just trusts that the work is getting done, etc...So enough is enough and on Monday the bigger boss that hired the construction crew for us is going to see what is really going on and why at the beginning of the 6th week...as they say in French ' On en a ras le bol'.

Anyway through all this I have doing my meal preparation on boards on my living room floor, dishes and most of our laundry in the bathtubs since we have no stove or washer & dryer right now.  I even have it easy with water and hot at that so close at hand.  I can do my laundry and dishes indoors too. :-)  Yes this is all building character and patience through it all.  It has also been very good for our marriage since it's about the only thing we can work on, daily work at, and make changes or fix things where needed right now.  We have worked outdoors together, cried together, prayer together.♥

Yes, by next year it will just be a distant memory just like our fireplace, bathroom, front hall and chimney renovations that took till December now is and it's been only a year.
