Year 2 of Ambassadors Christian School

My boys were so ready to head to school. They love a routine and they were ready for summer to be over. We'd had lots of fun.
My 3rd son Thomas was off to formal school for the first time going off to grade 1.
He loves it! It is also nice for me being there teaching
every morning and getting to teach him for French class.
He is very obedient and asks questions, etc.

Jürgen (grade 5) and Mathias (grade 3) are glad to be back at school. Last year they all had Heidi Feenstra and this year and for hopefully years to come they have Elizabeth Smith.

It has been great to be back teaching French again. I have 11 students and 6 grades to figure out. Thankfully grade 1-2 have French together and mainly do the same things with me. For grade 3-6 I modify as I go. Anyway, it just reminds me of day camp days and juggling ages 6-12, tutoring days, teaching days (grade 9 core and academic in the same room) and homeschooling multiple grades. It's fun. :-)

I love teaching every morning. My youngest Johan (SK age)
is happy to not be going off to school just yet as he is only getting excited about letters and numbers recently. So I have one more year before I am officially an 'empty-nester' from 8am-3pm. :-)  Spas, pedicures, coffee shops, here I come! Just kidding...a little. :-) Being so involved with the school and being the volunteer/helper every Monday from 8:30-noon and then at the school from 8:30-10am every day keeps be busy enough and time for prep etc... God has blessed us and we are so thankful for his direction and can so clearly see Him carrying us on this journey.♥
