This was a fun past few weeks of keeping a big surprise. My sister Erin turned 30 a couple of weeks ago. She knew she and her husband were hosting an outdoor winter party in the evening of the 27th but she had no idea that her husband had invited his siblings, her siblings, spouses, nephews/nieces and parents for dinner first. Her husband had been busy building a table for 20 people in their heated garage when she thought he was building a crib for their baby. She wasn't allowed to see it since it was to be a surprise too. She had no idea what he was up to during these last few weeks. It was a great weekend and she was very surprised. We all had a great time together. On the Sunday morning, at church, they presented their daughter to the congregation (baby dedication/they are members of a Brethern church) and my dad got the closest he'll get to baptising his granddaughter by going up to to the front with my brother-in-law's father and praying for our little niece Clara. We left Quebec City around 2pm and headed to my sister Kira and her husband's place in Montreal where we had a nice visit & dinner together before heading home around 7:45pm.
It was a wonderful weekend.
