Serious m.o.b.ster and may never shovel again.

Anytime I leave the house the word mobster comes to mind.  I leave with my mob of 4 boys and I am a Mother of Boys, yes only boys.  I also think about the word since whether we go to the grocery store, library, dutch shop, (except church and actually even there we get comments about managing to keep our boys together or knowing where they ALL are) we get 'mobbed' by complete strangers.  We are at everyone's 'mercy' and comment.  We get lots of negative or very 'matter of fact' comments directed to the boys or to me but thankfully we get some good ones too.  It has taught us humility and to hold our tongues.  I can't even imagine what true persecution must be like or what the blacks experienced in the U.S. and elsewhere or the Jews or any other group that 'sticks' out and doesn't fit the norm.  I just wish I'd remember to go grocery shopping with my friends, especially those with 4, 5, 6 children along and we could all check out our week's worth of groceries back to back.   I take comfort and can smile inside thinking that in not too long my 4 boys will be able to shovel the driveway and with 4 doing it, it will be done in minutes and during the snowfall since they are at home during the day.  I also love to remember the old lady who with a Chinese accent came up to me and said..."You are a very lucky lady, very lucky lady".  Thank you Lord for the reminder of your blessings.  I'm not lucky but I do have a purpose and should be more thankful for my blessings.
