Finally settled.

I have finally settled, period. Okay, I have finally settled on my favourite chapter of the Bible.  I had a favourite verse from that chapter but I discovered this morning...somehow for only the very first time that in that chapter were several other verses that I love.  I discovered a verse I`d never really carefully read and went straight to my heart and made today which was a muggy tiring day that much easier to tackle.  So the chapter is number 40 from the book of Isaiah.  The last verse of the whole chapter is my absolute favourite but I found a new place for  verse 11 (whicdh does take away from verse 31) at this time in my life.  It is a great text for us moms.  'He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.'  I read along...those that have young...wait a minute...that`s me!  Why have I never really seen that verse before.  What a blessing to go re-read that chapter and find so many little jewels I have never realised sparkled so brightly and I needed to see.  The Lord gives us what we need, for every step of the way.
