Great grandmother

This is a wedding photo of my great grandfather and grandmother (my grandfather's mother whom he always said I looked like). I have been told I look like my mother but I do think I look more like my father's side! My grandfather said I looked and spoke like his mother. My grandmother (Oma Z.) gave me my great grandmother's (her mother-in-law) monogramed locket necklace for Christmas this year. Inside the locket is a photo of my grandfather's maternal grandfather (my great-great grandfather). I opened the gift early since we won't be home for Christmas and we didn't want to travel with too many unopened gifts...we are already taking quite a few. My grandfather (Opa Z. 1923-2003) was an only child so I'm guessing any jewellery went to his wife, my Oma. My Oma can tell me if I got this info wrong. ☺

It is such a very special gift! I just love my Oma and miss my Opa!
