Shotokan Karate class

This morning was M.'s first Japanese Shotokan karate class. All of the students played a few games (stop 'n go) to warm up and M. won the first one. J. gave M. a hug in front of everyone because he was so proud of him for winning! M. also got his gi and his white belt. Here are some photos of the boys and also of T. wanting to be part of the excitement !

    I was pretty pleased! I followed some instructions and they worked! I actually found a website that I saw on another friend's blog page and then thought I'd give it a shot! Ta-da!
