Having guests over for more than a week seemed very risky and maybe not a wise idea...Anyway, I went ahead and offered to a family we had only met last summer to stay with us for over a week. It would mean at least 4-5 people from the Netherlands staying with us. We had kept in touch all year anyway via emails and facebook. The usual 'me' had to be put away and the relaxed, go-with-the-flow part of me had to be created. :-) God gave me what I needed to be a good hostess (or so they said), communication in love and kindness was good from both parties, etc. Long story short...we had a great time together, they so kindly did the dishes every night (yay!), etc. The boys are already asking when we can have them stay with us again.

Went to Gatineau Park for a trail walk and then to LaCigale...the best ice cream in the area.♥

tank tops at Walmart and then surprised us by making us a chocolate cake for dessert with a thank you note on it to thank us for hosting them.♥ Now Cookie Monster and Elmo want to eat the cake. :-)
The girls made dinner one night for us...So yummy!
And on their last night at our house made `scrumptious` (a word we taught them) mini pizzas with the boys and the parents went out for dinner together.
Lots of Dutch was spoken by our guests, we tried to understand, then we all spoke English, I spoke to Edward and the boys at times in French, etc...We had fun with our `Orange` friends.
