March Break

So I wasn't sure we woudl get through March Break since we had no plans. Well on Monday we went to the library and cleaned out the fridge (and registered for a library workshop) and got groceries where the boys to find the ingredients, pick produce, learn about best before dates, etc since they boh wanted to do some baking & cooking this week. On Tuesday, we got the groceries all organised and talked about what the boys would make each day. Today Mathias and I made soft cheesy pretzels together and Jürgen made chili for dinner. We went back to the library for the RCMC Rescue volunteers and did a workshop together called 'Hug-A-Tree'. The boys were taught a lot about what to do if you got lost in the woods alone and were each given a safety/survival kit. It was really great.  We also watched a movie at home about the artist Andy Warhol whom the boys had never heard of. They though it was interesting but weren't really in to his art. Tomorrow we are going to a local church for dinner for a mission trip fundraising dinner & viewing of 'A Dolphin's Tale' together (glad we haven't seen it yet). On Thursday, we are heading out to a sugar shack as a family and Friday I have a dr check up and Edward has a board meeting that night and has taken both Thursday and Friday off to spend with us. And then I need to get my prep done for the following week of teaching again as I continue on 'Les Fruits de L'Esprit'. It's been a great week so far!
