Rain...

Don't you just love the rain? I do...well in medium to small doses. I don't love months of rain but I do love those showers after a hot summer day. I love rain showers shared with others. The fascination and awesome observation of lightning and that healthy respect for its danger. That closeness of a couple sharing an umbrella in a storm. The camaraderie of a group of friends sharing a shelter and waiting out a storm only to nevertheless all get drenched. The freshness of the air, the green of the plants, the crisp and clear song of the birds. When there is no devastation or sadness...Rain is wonderful.
