So we went to a cabane à sucre last weekend. We hadn't been in over 6 years. It can be exhausting with 4 boys... My parents were going with a group from their and another church and invited us to join them. So when it's 4 adults taking care of 4 boys...pretty doable! It did require a 2 1/2 hr drive to get there but it was a beautiful drive and once we got there, the weather and company were amazing (we even got to meet some new people and see some old friends that live in Montreal). Of course the food was deadly but it's a once a year outing...like Ketucky Fried Chicken (which is actually as of 2 years ago, no longer an outing at all!)
The boys learned a lot and are looking forward to next year...probably a different location but with the same group!
Here are a couple of shots: J looking at a goat (kept calling it a dog)☺ and the others are more obvious.☺ If you check my other blog there is a shot of the sap falling into a bucket...Pretty cool!
