Music
Last night as we were putting the boys to bed, they asked if I could sing them a song. I have sung to them most nights since they were newborns. I asked them if they had a specific request (I usually sing hymns either in French or English). T. in his (almost 3 year old) squeaky voice piped up and said, 'Can you sing the Spiderman theme song for us, Mama?' I was a bit surprised as were his older brothers so I suggested that I would sing a hymn in French first thinking he might fall asleep and forget about it. Just as I finished singing, T. piped up again, 'Mama, can you sing the Spiderman song now?' I did sing it (the boys filled in where I missed a few words) and ended up with 3 hyper boys but they did fall asleep with smiles on their faces. Thanks to YouTube and their awesome father who like me enjoys a variety of genres of music. I was going to include the jazz version done Michael Bublé that we love to watch together but YouTube just had to remove it because of a copyright violation. Would have loved for you to see it! So here's the original instead! *Spiderman*
