Cut or Artificial...

I never felt bad buying cut flowers or receiving them...Somehow when I thought of getting a Christmas tree... the idea of a whole tree being cut and then thrown out (well... I know) a few weeks later, kind of bothered me...Hmm...I can't decide...Artificial ones are pretty expensive and not as authentic...like artificial flowers...But just not the same as the real ones... Any suggestions??

    We got a real one.. in Ottawa we used to go and cut it down.. a great experience!! Here, we just go and buy it.. not the same, but it works. I figured that since it is a tree farm is not bad.. they'll plant new ones to replace these ones any ways.. I wouldn't go and cut it down from a forest! But the artificial are nice since they do not leave a mess after Christmas..
