I just turned 32 this weekend! My day started off with an appointment at a day spa run by one of my neighbours (in her home). She does excellent work! I got a pedicure and got my eyebrows waxed. I came home 2 hours later and my husband and boys had decorated the place together for me. I had a nice lunch with my husband and 4 boys. To fast forward to dinner and the gifts that were showered upon me... My spa morning was a present from E. as was also a cd of that boys choir (Libera) that I really like (see an older blog entry about them).
To top it all off was an amazing gift from my grandmother, parents, 5 siblings and 1 sister-in-law and my husband. They all got together and made arrangements for my parents to come from Montreal and babysit the four boys while E. & I travel to Quebec City (in the middle of August) to go for a very nice dinner, then we have tickets to see the huge musical production (for the 400th birthday of QC) of Les Misérables and then stay over night at a very nice hotel and then spend the Saturday enjoying the Old City!!!!

I have wanted to see Les Misérables since I was 14! I was given an audio cassette by my grandmother when I was a teenager that I listened to so many times it broke. I also bought the unabriged edition of the book written by Victor Hugo and read it and E. read it a few years ago.
I am very excited!

ReplyDeleteLove you and enjoy your time in Quebec City... I love that place!
Sorry I was chatting with Ev for a while and then went outside. And the boys were a bit of a handful to get to bed... Thanks for thinking of me!!
