
How do I get back in shape with a 2 year old sitting on my head ? Hmm... Yes, I would like to get back in top shape. I do have lots of energy running after 4 boys. I used to have all the time to do high impact aerobics & yoga (more ashtanga style). Everytime I start up again one of my boys decides that I picked the wrong time to do it. This morning we were all out on our deck, birds singing, beautiful sunshine... great time to do some stretches & crunches. My older two were interested but as soon as I sat down on the deck, my 2 year old sat on my head! He then started to cry and "demanded" a hug and wouldn't let me do anything. So it's thankfully not lack of will on my part, but exercise is hard to do with 23 lbs sitting on my head, crying! He'll just have to adjust and I may have to get used to his company during my workouts. :-)
I had to give up running when we moved here.. and the treadmill can't stand it... hope to get back to it one day... until then, I will enjoy the look of the "maternity shirts look"..
